This is a little angel W, I will call her that just for fun. Her mom missed her maternity photo session because of work but thankfully I had a chance to photograph W at the right time, the first two weeks. Newborn Photography has so much going at times and future parents don’t realize it. If you want a great set up and good photos , we have to create Parent’s Preparation List. A list consists of things that you would like to bring to the session that are meaningful for you. For example for W we used her grandma’s rocking chair that has been in in their family for over three generations, or the great grandma’s blanket that she made for W. Precious items like these are very important to capture and preserve for the next generations to come. Other things that you have to bring with you for your baby is of course extra milk, even if your baby is on the schedule, they sense the mood change of parents and tend to have a yen for extra milk for comfort. To keep your baby happy bring supplemental amount of it. Diapers is a must and extra wipes for any types of accidents. A warm blanket is great too for covering your baby when we are taking breaks to feed the baby or to rock her to sleep.
It is recommended to book the session for your baby few months prior your due date. It helps me also to know the sex of the baby and gives me enough time to prepare items for your baby session. Preparing in advance with couple of looks will make our session look great!
