When I say a small wedding, this is what I consider a small wedding. As a New Jersey Event Photographer, you can work from morning until dawn when it comes to weddings. You can start from the morning and meet with the bride when she is getting her makeup and finish when the DJ is playing the last song. Small wedding for me is when you have one Bridesmaid and Usher when you have no more than 80 guests. It also means that you are hiring a wedding photographer for maximum for five hours. If this is your second marriage or you doing it at home or just having a shotgun wedding and this is just a small celebration. I call them all small weddings. I was lucky enough that all my small weddings were decent enough except maybe one. The church was the nicest thing about the whole wedding, the reception was in some basement with few table to hold the food. Everything else was very nice even for a small event like a wedding. I did couple of pictures in multi-million dollar homes and in very special old mansions that are now run as private clubs. I also did in a nice small event hall and one place I photographed two weddings there. A little story about this wedding. This is what I call, ” international” wedding. She is from another country which I am dreaming to retire at, Italy. He is from our back of the woods. His family doing the wedding here because the couple is doing another wedding back in Italy. His mother and his sister hired everyone and paid for everything to achieve this very nice wedding. Everyone, of course, was more on his side, his old friends, new friends and co-workers and of course the family. The music was great, the cake looked beautiful, the bride and groom are very good looking people. The wedding was a fun and happy event.
