May I say that Sweet 16 is one of the best parties to photograph. As a event photographer in central New Jersey, people ask me to go places that I would never have opportunity to go and meet so many wonderful and beautiful people. Why I love sweet 16 because its more relaxed party then a wedding or a Christening. The hosts are also more relaxed and no one is in a rush , the party consists of close friends and family and the usually the best dj. Since ceremony of the candles usually at the end, no one is rushing to get there and everyone has plenty of fun prior the ceremony.
I also mentioned dj , for sweet 16 its a must to have awesome dj that knows today top hits and other songs that kids love today like one hit wonder and some rap that kids request but never dance to also good enough to just create awesome dance atmosphere.
I have done only few sweet 16 parties but every time I have done them, guests love to be photographed, hosts also want to be photographed and everyone with their great smiles. So what not to love about sweet 16?
Here are some photos from my recent sweet 16, this was done in much smaller venue but it was cozy and beautiful. I am sure the food was much better then any hall since it was Italian restaurant. The dance floor was constantly full with girls dancing and many of them seemed like they are training in dance schools. Their professional twirls and kicks gave out the secret.
