It feels like Spring in East Coast and I am doing the album for a couple that took their photographs of their second pregnancy in 2014! My most busiest and most popular package Mommy and Baby package! Now days I call it, Maternity and Baby package, I guess a new name would be a bonus for a new fresh start of 2016. If you have any suggestions , please email me the names. Let me explain to you this package first, it consists of two photo sessions and we start with a meeting for preparation guide. Preparation guide is when we talk about colors, ideas and locations of your shoot, we also set up session date for your first shoot, the Maternity!
Second time we meet is for your maternity session and it takes about one hour to do your hair and make up , I am coming with my make up artist. Make up artist will do a certain make up that won’t look way to heavy for your photographs, yet will soften and bring out your best features. Maternity Photo session runs for one hour on the location with three different looks.I usually do one casual , one nude or pretend nude and one sophisticated look. All three looks are done of just pregnant client and with her husband.
Third time we meet is to view your photos, its about two weeks after the session and we also do another brain storm for your baby’s session. I have props and some things but I may need to get extra items or different colors to create something nice for your baby’s session. To make your photos more perfect, I have to have items be prepared and ready to go prior the photo shoot. When you deliver your baby , simply call, text or email when from the hospital to schedule specific day and time. Since your husband probably will be home the first week, its great time to do it, we can do it during a week or the weekend.
Fourth meeting is to photograph your baby, this session usually runs about 2-3 hours. Best time to photograph your baby is the first 5-10 days old. We make room warm, turn on music and give plenty of milk to keep your baby happy and warm. Lots of patience and love we need to give your baby to create great photos for you to cherish for the rest of your and your child’s life.
After the newborn photo session ,we meet again for the preview of your baby’s photos and also to place last order for the album and prints. Before I order the album, I send you preview of it and to make sure that you like everything. Album usually comes around 2-3 weeks from the order day.
This is not a quick photography session you may ever receive. You have to be ready to meet multiple times and make some decisions. Its also fun and very special experience, don’t take it lightly but yet you will very much remember it.
