I have been Maternity Photographer in Central New Jersey for the past 14 years. What I love about maternity photography, there is no season, it’s all year long. It is not like wedding or family portraits where people tend to request photographers from Spring until December. Moms don’t have a schedule, I will say that many more babies are born in Spring and early Summer but there is not a month in a whole year that baby isn’t born.
Women are our treasures, they create the life for us. What can be anything more special than that? My job is to make a woman feel like a goddess for a day, she needs to know that what she is carrying and creating is wonderful and magic. Children are not just our future but they are smart, pure angels. I believe that women look most beautiful during their pregnancies and any dress would look stunning on them. Every woman deserves to experience maternity portrait photo session at least once in her lifetime.
Any woman that calls me and is not sure if she should do it, I always tell them, don’t let this special moment, this opportunity to get away. Don’t stop yourself from missing this! Many women will get pregnant again but there is 20% that have the trouble of getting pregnant second time and its a fact. There are women that have problems of getting naturally pregnant even the first time. If you had no problem of getting pregnant, you should consider yourself as a lucky one. So why not celebrate it, it is only a temporary feeling that you have few times in your life. You love to be pregnant, why not capture it in a fun way that will last you, your children and your grandchildren and some generations after you. Every time you will look at your portraits, I guarantee you will smile. It will bring you to that moment, to that time to the day. Portraits are so important in our lives, yet many of us are very careless about it. How would you remember your past life without photographs?
