I haven’t been on the computer as much, opening a new studio in Metuchen New Jersey. I will write more about it in my next blog. As a New Jersey Maternity Photographer, I started last year about this time a new product for my maternity and family clients. It’s a beautiful collection of your best portraits printed on a professional quality paper and tucked between thick mat boards. I found this product online and one of the photographers that I love some much and is my mentor suggested to show and sell to the clients. I actually found a different company and it’s all the way from Ireland. It is not cheap but its worth every penny. There are things in life that you can purchase for much less money and other things that you just have to invest. This is one of those products, it will last you for ever and because it’s so beautiful, it will definitely be passed on your children and your grandchildren. Just remember your feelings when you were given something from your family, from your grandparents or great grandparents? Did you feel like it is so special that you can’t put the price on this?
This is definitely the box to pass on. I don’t know how long USB will survive but later it can be as a beautiful jewelry for your box. This is why printed portraits are so important. We don’t know how long disks and USB will exist, they way everyone is talking from IT fields, many things are placed in I cloud. Who knows how long that would survive either. Do you believe in virtual storage? I don’t because we still live in a time where electricity can be shut off and they don’t have enough batteries to continue to hold all information and forget your pictures then.
