I am trying to get into Senior Photography as much as I can. I just feel like it’s so awesome and so much fun. I, as Senior Portrait Photographer, photographed seniors through out my photo career, just maybe few of them in a year but not enough to become popular Senior Photographer in New Jersey.
This was a referral from one of my local clients. I bought skirts and tops for the girl to try out it before the session. My problem is that I am trying to purchase items in medium size but girls that come to me are way too small in size. We still figured out by using some of her clothes and made outfits that still suited the photo session.
I drove to her multiple times. As I mention to all my clients, to create a successful photos session, we have to do consultation so we can understand our selves and prepare things. This also helps clients to be more comfortable with me during a session day instead of introducing our selves during a session day. For many people, it is a difficult thing, they get very shy, it really helps.
We went to Van Vleck House and Gardens, I was dreaming about this place since I read the article about this mansion. It restored and open couple years back. Finally, I had the opportunity to do some photos there. At first, I didn’t know the name of it and I wasn’t sure where my clients wanted to go. When we got there after walking around, I realized where we were. If you haven’t been there its a place to shoot. Now, if you want to do nice portraits of your self or your family, get ready to spend $300 for photo permit at this place. Some may say it is too much but I say it worth every penny.
We took some photos there and around sun set we took pictures on the mountain. It helped to highlight her hair into the color of golden locks. Check them out and let me know if you like them.
