Showcasing My Photography Without Confusion!
Hi there! Welcome to my little corner of the website, where I get to share my love for photography with you. I am Maria, I wanted to take a moment to talk about something that’s been on my mind lately—how to showcase everything I do without making it overwhelming or unclear for you, my amazing clients.
My business friend’s feedback is, “Your Instagram feels all over the place!” While I understand where that’s coming from, my goal has always been to celebrate the many moments that make life beautiful. My photography isn’t confined to one niche, I would hate it, and get bored with it—I believe in capturing the diversity of life’s experiences. But I also want to make it easy for you to see what I offer and how I can help tell your story.
Here’s a quick look at the types of photography I love to photograph:
- Maternity Photography – This is such a magical time, and I love helping expectant moms to celebrate it. These sessions are close to my heart and a big part of what I do. Hair, Makeup, dresses!
- Headshots – Whether for work, LinkedIn, or personal branding, headshots are a quick, fun way for me to help you shine. These sessions are also perfect for filling quieter days in my schedule. Love to clients in their best suits.
- Teen Portraits – From Quinceañeras to graduation photos, I adore capturing the joy, energy, and special outfits that come with these milestones. I do most of my creative work with teens.
- Boudoir Photography – While I don’t do these every day, they’re a unique and empowering way for clients to celebrate their confidence—and I love being part of that journey. Poses and lighting can be very dramatic for it. And, I love Drama!
- Newborn Photography – Those tiny toes and sleepy smiles are simply irresistible. These sessions are all about capturing the sweetness of those early days. Those photographed with clients that I already met before so it is very special time.
- Family Sessions – I aim to document your love, connection, and laughter in ways you’ll cherish for years.
When I look at what you’re searching for—things like maternity photoshoot, boudoir photography, and photo studios near me—I start thinking about how to balance what you’re looking for with everything I love to create. Should I focus more on these popular areas, or is there a way to bring all my passions together in a way that feels cohesive?
I draw inspiration from people like Martha Stewart. Her brand isn’t just about cooking or gardening; it’s about creating an entire lifestyle that feels beautifully curated. That’s the kind of harmony I want for my photography. I want you to feel inspired and excited when you browse my work—and to know exactly how I can help capture your special moments.
So, here’s my goal: to create a seamless experience where maternity, headshots, teen portraits, boudoir, newborn, and family photography all come together under one clear, beautiful umbrella! I’m working on making my website and branding as straightforward and inviting as possible so you can easily find what you need. But I can’t find that balance. Should I show just maternity for a week and then headshots for the second week?
