I am trying to get deeper into Senior Photography. As a Senior Portrait Photographer, I think it would be even more fun to photograph young adults. I have been photographing teenagers over the years but few in a year. I love to photograph them, they usually are very open to my ideas and willing to do something different and new. Even though many of them are conscious about their looks many of seniors will try outfits that they usually won’t wear and dare themselves to try, where many adults would stop and even get angry that they got pushed. It can make the simple thing as a new makeup or hair style that they never tried before.
I also like about shooting senior portraits is that line of capturing the youthful spirit. I remember my 18, I almost end up going to the photographer but never done it. I am upset now that I didn’t do it. I don’t want other kids to have those regrets, it constantly coming back to me every time I shoot the senior or just thinking about young people. Not to have those kinds of regrets, here is what you can do.
First I like to meet for consultation, where we can talk about what you would like to do and go through some ideas. Also, we go through your closet and see what style we can do for your photo shoot. I also have few things for you to try on. We also will talk about the makeup and hair, since we have a magic lady who will come and help us out to achieve your beautiful look. We set up a date, time and location of the shoot. For summer and fall pictures that are made outside we set up two dates just in case of weather.
Here is a sample of a boy’s senior portraits, I have done recently. He wanted to do outside on a football field of our local high school. He was one of the players so we captured his jacket, the field by making sure that the sign is in the background. We didn’t go there at the right time, we went there around 10 a.m. and at that time the sun was way too high and it was very hot. I would definitely suggest to do photo shoots around evenings or very early in the morning like 8 a.m. If you want to do your consultation, please email me your information.
