As a Central New Jersey Photographer, I get calls do photograph from maternity, portraits to small events like sweet 16. This one was so small, I just basically took a picture prior the girls going to their event. Since their event was small, it wasn’t necessary to bring a photographer there. They didn’t have DJ or event hall for me to capture their whole event. So I just came to the house and took quick photos of the birthday girl and her friends and family.
Their theme was a tea at Teaberry’s Tea Room in Flemington New Jersey. Ladies forgot their hats but otherwise were appropriately dressed for such event. It’s definitely something fun to do for a bunch of 16-year-old girls that can quietly spend quality time together and chat about school and girl’s stuff. It was a definitely unique event since the majority of events I have done, were all done at the halls with DJ and low lights.
My son is turning 16 this year and he also wants something small to do. I am stuck, I have no idea what to do for him. I think for boys it’s much harder to find something compare to girls.
So here are some photos of before they went off to their special tea party. If you have anything small coming up, please let me know. I can work with you based on the hours of your event. It doesn’t matter to me how many people are there but the amount of time is necessary. Also if your party has some attraction, it’s also a plus. It helps me to take more great shots of your guests, candid shots are the best at that time because people are busy with attraction and not paying attention to me.
