The season is here for Sweet 16 Birthdays and Senior portraits. As a Portrait Photographer, I would like to show you an example of the photos that can be done for your daughter’s Senior Portraits and also for the Sweet 16 Birthday Party, outside at the time of the sunset.
Spending so much money on the dress and spending money on the great event, I don’t see why not take this even further and bring it to another level. Create a beautiful, unique, individual portraits of your child in the same dress in more calmer and great photographs.
How to do it?
Please call me or email me about your available times and dates that we can do your session. This is better to be done after your prom so the dress or the tux won’t be ruined during our session. I come with hair and makeup person and we create a beautiful look for your daughter. The hair style can me a little looser than what you would do for the prom. Makeup we use is less than what is done for the event and also age appropriate. We want more natural appearance and only to bring natural beauty.
We do sessions in the morning or evening time. Morning light is a perfect white balance with a hint of cold tint and it’s done before 11 o’clock. Usually, for something like that I would suggest around 8-9 o’clock but because of the hair we would have to start earlier.
For the evening photo session, it is hard to say but depending on the time of the year. If you are interested in doing it now, I would suggest starting around 4:30 if we are doing makeup, if not then even later in the day.
These examples show a month ago around 7 p.m. when the sun was almost on the horizon. You can see that photos have more of the yellow, almost peach colors with hints of orange and red. It’s a very romantic time of the day to do your photo shoot. If you have any questions please ask. Enjoy the photos.
